Doors Off with Waterfalls

DEPARTS FROM HILO

Soar over the world's most active volcano with the doors off in what the Travel Channel dubbed, ''The Hottest Helicopter Ride on the Planet''. With the wind in your face and 2200° molten, red hot lava beneath your feetócan you feel the heat?

Your adventure begins at the Hilo International Airport in a four seat, Hughes 500 helicopter. After taking off, you will soar over the lush rainforests of the Hilo area, the vistas of Mauna Loa (Hawai'i's largest mountain) and the cascading waterfalls of the Rainbow Falls State Park. Most exciting of all, you'll experience the current activity at Kilauea Volcano from a unique vantage point 500 feet above!

This scenery of East Hawai'i is both diverse and unique. The Hawaiian Islands are the most isolated islands on Earth and there is no better way to experience their unparalleled beauty than by helicopter.
