Our Pilots

Paradise Pilot Carl or "Mooch" was among the trusted few to fly President Clinton by helicopter on Marine One.

When it comes to pilots, we attract and employ the cream of the crop. Our pilots are highly decorated, have deep experience in every condition imaginable, exceed the number of flight hours expected, and each has a unique connection and love for sharing Hawai'i.

We are veteran-owned, and most of our pilots are either veterans or active duty. We offer a military discount for helicopter tour guests.

Female leadership is rare in aviation, but not at Paradise Helicopters.

Women fly our helicopters, lead our maintenance department, and manage our bases. We are also co-owned by a woman.

We fly a considerable amount of utility or commercial services flights in addition to tours. This requires our pilots to have a more diverse skillset than the tour pilots of most other helicopter touring companies.

They must have a heightened commitment to safety and fly with precision while navigating constantly changing conditions on the ground and in the air. It keeps our pilots sharp, engaged, and requires a higher caliber of skill. This all adds up to increased safety for guests. Flying a tour is the easiest thing our pilots do.
