Our Carbon Offset Program
Paradise is the only air-tour company that gives guests the option to Green Your Seat. Turning your seat green means that the carbon emissions of your flight are offset through the planting of native and endemic trees.
How Does It Work?
Green Your Seat by opting in for all tour flights for a nominal cost per seat. All seats on Custom Adventures and Exclusive Experiences are automatically green. One hundred percent of your fee is used to support native forests through the planting of endemic saplings in Hawaiʻi.
Sustainable Tourism Certification
Paradise holds a Sustainable Tourism Certification from the nonprofit Sustainable Tourism Association of Hawai‘i, recognizing the company’s commitment to Hawai‘i’s environment since 2014. “We are proud to be the first air-tour company to offer carbon-neutral flights and to earn this certification for our commitment to environmentally responsible operations and community stewardship under our Ho'omaluo Program,” said Calvin Dorn, chief executive officer of Paradise Helicopters.

For guests who want to give back to the land even more, Paradise also offers the Mālama Collection of exclusive experiences which include flights to remote forests on Hawai'i Island and O'ahu to plant a native tree, learn about the local ecosystem, and gain a deeper understanding of their interconnectedness with nature.
