A Multitude of Flows

Rainy skies couldn’t prevent our lava overflight this morning! The Pu’u ‘O’o vent was inaccessible, but a multitude of flows were discovered on, above and below the Pali. Pele has made her way onto the coastal flats, but has made little progress toward the ocean. Mahalo to Paradise Helicopters’ terrific pilot, Paul Davis… Leilani the Hula Girl, Dinosaur Ducky, Bruce Omori and I welcomed the Special Guest, Monika Chace. We had a superb charter!
