Virtual Big Lava & Volcanoes Experience
Paradise Helicopters is proud to present an hour-long educational and awe-inspiring interactive virtual class!
Witness the spectacular lava flows caught on camera, showcasing the disruption and creation of land on the Big Island of Hawai’i. This educational experience includes access to footage shot by award-winning videographers of the historic 2018 Kilauea Volcano eruption as well as present-day footage of the volcano, live narration provided by the actual pilots who’ve flown over the active eruptions and a local nature photographer who documented the eruption. Our critical thinking worksheets work in tandem with the video to engage students and help with learning retention. We also provide a list of links to learn more about the topics covered in the virtual field trip.
