On Hawaiian Time with Mick and Bruce is hosted by Mick Kalber and Bruce Omori. The two Big Island residents first teamed up in 2014 to fly over and document the Kilauea volcano as it encroached on the village of Pahoa. In 2018, they diligently documented the Leilani Estates eruption which destroyed hundreds of homes while displacing thousands of residents (including Mick and his wife Ann). Joined by Mick’s wife Ann Kalber and producer Tim Coakley, Mick & Bruce talk story about life unfiltered on the Big Island.

Cal Dorn was responsible for first putting Mick and Bruce together flying photo charters over the volcano. He has an interesting story and you may be surprised to hear that his background is originally in Forest Management.
